If I were to tell you there is a place in Montreal where one can wear a Christmas sweater whilst sipping on a delicious cocktail and sing along the lovely tunes of Michael Bublé the Great, would you believe me?
You betcha! Cause Miracle Montreal is back once again in the Old Port and holy gingerbread, get ready to drink some eggnog for a good cause.
In brief, Miracle is an ephemeral Christmas pop-up bar operating in over 90 cities with the objective of giving back for the holiday season. This year, Opération Père Noël will receive the profits from the Montreal location, and will then sprinkle magic to children in need right in time for Christmas morning.
If you haven't set foot at last year's Miracle pop-up bar, well you're in for a treat. To put it lightly, once entering this winter wonderland of a bar, one might think Santa himself has barfed from floor to ceiling. If so, it's okay as the thought crossed my mind upon my first visit.
Once again, Coldroom will quench your thirst by offering crazy and holiday-inspired Christmas cocktails served in the cutest mugs and before having the sudden urge to bring the mug home, simply ask the bartender as they are also for sale! Speaking from experience here.
Now call your friends, wear your best Christmas sweater and get ready to sing along Mariah Carey's most iconic tunes. Miracle Montreal is open until December 26th!
